About

We strengthen Canada's healthcare system by advancing the purchasing interests of health authorities, hospitals and Shared Service Organizations across the country.

HealthPRO is Canada's healthcare procurement services organization. Through the commitment of more than 800 healthcare facilities across the country, we collectively bring together the most significant purchasing power ever assembled amongst Canada's hospitals.

Through our national aggregated purchasing power, we maximize savings across many high quality products and services hospitals use every day, thereby contributing to the sustainability of our healthcare system.  These include pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, support services, nutrition and food products, energy and capital equipment.

HealthPRO is wholly owned by its member shareholders: provincial health authorities, hospitals and shared service organizations across the country.

Our in-house team of clinical and business professionals engages clinicians, pharmacists and supply chain professionals from across our membership to provide input into our strategies and product evaluations, ensuring contracted products meet the needs of Canadian hospitals and their patients.

By working collectively, HealthPRO members impact issues of national significance including patient safety, innovation and assurance of supply.
